The room design and layout were nice, with a private external hot spring tub. The staff were cheerful, helpful, and friendly. The traditional Japanese style, decorations, and comfortable tatami room added to the charm. The onsen experience was very nice, with a private bath available at no extra charge.

I was warmly welcomed and felt instantly relaxed. The traditional atmosphere, combined with the fine views of the surrounding nature, created the perfect getaway. The hot springs were luxurious and provided a soothing retreat at the end of each day. The owner's daughter and the serving woman were attentive and made me feel taken care of. The small town environment added to the charm, and I enjoyed exploring the nearby waterfalls. I had a unique stay at Ryokan Oomuraya and would highly recommend it to others.

I had a great New Year experience in this hotel! the staff provided me with a warm welcome and they were very nice the whole time. the breakfast included a traditional Japanese dish, which was amazing, and there was a relaxing hot spring that I could really enjoy. Plus, the location was perfect for day trips to nearby attractions.
The main restaurant allowed smoking and it was not a pleasant experience. some staff members had difficulty communicating with me in English.

The breakfast served was good, and the staff was nice. The location was also convenient as it was near to a beautiful river. The private bath was an absolute treat that we had to pay for, but it was worth it. The traditional Japanese room was also quite nice.
The staff had not made an effort to communicate with us in English, which made it difficult for us to understand their services. The bugs that were present made it uncomfortable to stay in the room.
